FIFA 22: Winter Wildcards has now started – With strong upgrades

In FIFA 22 the next event is coming up. Winter Wildcards is a completely new promo, but what could be hidden behind the name?

When does Winter Wildcards start? The new event started on Friday, December 17, at 7:00 PM. Winter Wildcards replaces the currently ongoing Versus event. The freshly started Icon Swaps will of course continue as usual.

What is Winter Wildcards? Looking at the calendar, Winter Wildcards is set to be this year’s “larger” winter event. Previously, it was the “Futmas” event, which was already replaced by “Freeze” in FIFA 21 . Now we have a new successor.

What kind of event is this? In the Winter Wildcards event, there are various boosts – from stats to skill moves and weak feet to position changes. The first team of the event will be available until December 23 – after that, it will be replaced by the second team.

In addition, there is, as speculated before, another swap event. 24 Wildcard tokens can be earned in Squad Building Challenges and tasks, which can then be exchanged for rewards. However, exchanging will only be possible from December 26.

This is the Winter Wildcards team: The Winter Wildcards Team 1 features some extremely strong cards equipped with various boosts.

For example, Pogba gets a new card with all stats above 80 – and thus joins the Gullit Gang. Neymar is moved to the forward position and has extremely dangerous attacking stats. And then there are various boosts on skill moves and weak feet.
