What are Squad Battles? The Squad Battles are an offline mode in Ultimate Team, where you can play against the AI. The opponents are various AI-controlled teams, which vary in strength. Some feature top players, while others are weaker. Additionally, the chemistry between the teams varies.
What you need to do: The more matches you play against the Squad Battles teams, the better your chances for rewards. With each match, you earn “Battle Points”, which advance you in the Squad Battles ranking.
Depending on how many victories you collect and how well you perform in the respective matches, you will earn more Battle Points.
The higher you finish in the ranking at the end of the week, the better rewards you will receive. Important: The list is relatively difficult to monitor. Other players can surpass you throughout the week. So, it’s advisable not to rest on your early points gathered during the week.
Additionally, only the first 40 weekly matches of the Squad Battles count towards your ranking statistics. After that, you can only earn coins and must wait for the next competition start.
Squad Battles for two: If playing solely against the AI feels too dry, you can team up in co-op with friends to tackle the competition together.
However, there are only as many Battle Points as long as none of you has reached the 40 matches. You must also play with friends on the same platform, crossplay is not a factor in FIFA 22.
FIFA 22: Squad Battles – Rewards and Timing
When do the Squad Battles rewards come? The Squad Battles rewards are distributed on Sundays at 09:05 AM after the time change.
At this point, the new weekly competition also starts. Then the ranking resets, and you can start again to collect points.
