When will the FIFA 22 Web App be deactivated? It has been announced at EA Help that the FIFA 22 Web App will be deactivated today, on September 16, 2022. An official time has not yet been announced – currently the login is still available.

Which app is this about? This is only about the FIFA 22 Web App, the browser version that can also be used on a PC, for example. The Companion App for FIFA 22, on the other hand, seems to be unaffected.
What about the FIFA 22 Companion App? The Companion App is the application for iOS and Android that can be downloaded directly to the smartphone. No deactivation has been announced for today at this point.
However, it is known that the FIFA 22 Companion App will be updated to the FIFA 23 version on September 22. After that, it will no longer be possible to access your FUT22 team through the app.
What’s next for the FIFA Web App?
This applies to FIFA 22: If you want to manage your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team via the app after the Web App is deactivated, you will need to revert to the Companion App. However, this will only be possible via smartphone or tablet.
Apart from the apps, you can continue playing your Ultimate Team in the game itself – even after FIFA 23 has been released.
This applies to FIFA 23: A new version of the Web App for FIFA 23 is coming. However, it will not appear today, but in about a week. You can find out everything about the launch of the FIFA 23 Web App here.
For the Web App, you will not need to download anything, but only call up the website for login again. But: Only players with a FUT account can use early access to the app before the release of FIFA 23. New players can only log in after the game’s release.
The Companion App, on the other hand, will only be updated on September 22. You can either redownload it or simply update to FIFA 23.
