There are patch notes for the new Title Update 2 in FIFA 22. It is now also available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The update improves various minor aspects and fixes bugs.
When will the update be released? According to a tweet, the new Title Update 2 in FIFA 22 is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, and PS5 consoles. Previously, players could download it for PC (via Twitter).
In the past, it often took longer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X to receive the patches in FIFA 22 compared to PC. This was also the case with Title Update 1. Now, however, the second patch is officially available for everyone.

Patch Notes for Title Update 2 show changes for FIFA 22
This is changing in gameplay: An interesting change concerns crosses and “lobbed passes” in FIFA 22. They could now become more useful when it comes to scoring. The effectiveness of the opponent’s AI defenders will be reduced in blocking these balls.
Apparently, the defenders were able to stretch too far according to the patch notes to block high balls. This will now be weakened – and could make your crosses noticeably more effective. The exact impact will likely be seen in the coming days.
Moreover, the AI is now supposed to commit more fouls when you play on Semi-Pro or higher. Especially in Squad Battles this is useful, as you will likely receive more free kicks there. However, this does not apply if you have the “Competitor Mode” activated, which simulates the gameplay of FIFA pros.
This is also changing: In addition to the mentioned points, there are many bugs that are being addressed with the update. Important for PC players: The short “stuttering” of the image after using skill moves that appeared after the last update is supposed to be resolved now.
Further corrections are also coming. For example, players were partially bent to somehow fire a finesse shot with their strong foot when the weak foot was actually available.
Or the ball could unintentionally fly off high when two players made contact with the ball at the same time. Furthermore, it apparently occurred that referees occasionally awarded a free kick instead of a penalty, or players simply disappeared.
Changes in the modes
There were also several changes in the known modes. These involve a lot of minor adjustments in the modes as well as improvements of jerseys, celebrations, and similar aspects. You can find the complete patch notes at EA Sports (via FIFA Forums).

Ultimate Team
- In FUT, the penalty order is now also arranged according to the penalty attribute.
- New notification screens for FUT Champions have been added – for example, when you qualify.
- Jerseys could overlap with that of the referee.
Career mode
- There are now new cutscenes for the draw of European competitions.
- Youth players could disappear at the start of the new season.
- The match form could mistakenly decrease after a player was substituted in during the match.
- In player career, overly similar goals could appear.
Volta
- The Volta Arcade timer could display incorrect times.
- The entire lobby could unintentionally dissolve if the captain canceled matchmaking.
- The AI players of both teams had white player indicators.
- During goal celebrations, players could incorrectly move through walls.
Pro Clubs
- Sometimes the menus were slower than intended.
- Some players might have seen different jerseys than those the captain selected before the game.
