Dese are the ratings: The release of FIFA 22 is getting closer and now there is also the first larger batch of player ratings. The ratings represent the values with which the football stars are equipped in FIFA 22. The higher they are, the better the player.
Every year, there is much discussion about who will be the best player in FIFA. Now we have the answer for FIFA 22: EA Sports has released, fitting to the game title, the top 22 players with the highest ratings.

Messi best player in FIFA 22 – Lewandowski is number 2
Here are the best ratings in FIFA 22: This year once again Lionel Messi (93) leads the ratings in FIFA 22. The Argentine has just transferred to Paris Saint-Germain, where he forms an offensive trio with cover star Kylian Mbappé (91) and his former Barca teammate Neymar (91). Both are also represented in the top 10 of the ratings, so PSG will be a really tough team in FIFA 22.
But right behind Messi are two other players: Robert Lewandowski (92) and Cristiano Ronaldo (91) are number 2 and 3 in this year’s ratings. You can see the top ratings here in the overview:

This is how the Bundesliga stands in the ratings: Overall, three players from the Bundesliga have made it into the top selection of FIFA 22. These are three players from FC Bayern:
- Robert Lewandowski has received a very high overall rating (92) and stands out with strong values in shooting, dribbling, and physicality. Only in terms of pace does he lack a bit.
- Manuel Neuer has received a 90-rated card and shares the second place as the best goalkeeper in the game with Marc-André Ter Stegen – behind Jan Oblak.
- Joshua Kimmich (89) is also in the top 22 and plays in central midfield. He looks very strong defensively, and also has strong dribbling and passing values.
When you look at the values in the overview, you can see that the English Premier League dominates the top ratings:
