Today, on June 17, 2022, the Shapeshifters event in Ultimate Team starts in FIFA 22. We will show you all players and the changes in the Weekend League.
When does Shapeshifters start? The Shapeshifters event starts on June 17 at 7:00 PM. From this time, you can find the new special cards in packs.
What kind of event is this? Shapeshifters brings new cards to Ultimate Team that feature completely bizarre positions. So players who are usually strikers can receive defender cards. Wing players might end up in the center, midfielders could go back – and so on.
In addition, they will receive modified stats that match these new positions. Thus, they can present interesting options for your teams.
How does one get Shapeshifters cards? The majority of the cards will land in the packs of FIFA 22, but you’ll need a lot of luck there to pull one of the cards. Additionally, there will likely also be event players in the objectives and SBCs.

Weekend League is changed to Shapeshifters
This is happening with the Weekend League: During the TOTS event, there were new game times for the Weekend League, it lasted noticeably longer. Now it is going back to the old times.
- The Weekend League starts on Fridays at 9:00 AM
- And it ends on Mondays at 9:00 AM
Moreover, the rewards of the Weekend League will be adjusted. But as of now, you can still receive TOTS players from the Weekend League.
