In FIFA 22 started on Friday, October 29, the event “Rulebreakers”. We will show you what is in the event and what types of cards you can expect.
When does Rulebreakers start? The Rulebreakers event in Ultimate Team starts as usual at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. It follows the RTTK event, in which dynamic cards related to real football were released.
These are Rulebreakers cards: We already know the “Rulebreakers” from FIFA 21. It featured players who “leave their old style of play behind” – in other words, they receive somewhat reworked values.
One such example was Harry Kane. The Englishman is usually known for his strong finishing, not for his pace. However, his Rulebreakers card received a 91 for speed, which effectively made him a different type of player.
In the Rulebreakers event, you can expect players who basically have the opposite of a real correlation to football. What kind of cards those are, we will show you here.
Rulebreakers Team 1 – With Haaland, Casemiro, David Silva and more
This is Rulebreakers Team 1: The new event team has a few real highlights. Among other things, Haaland received a strong card: He loses a few points in shooting (with 87 still quite high), but receives boosts in pace, dribbling, passing, physics and even a point in defense.
Casemiro received a pace upgrade, as well as more points in all attributes except for physics. Antonio Rüdiger also gained more speed – that should please him after previous complaints. Fan favorite Dembélé also lost a bit of speed, but received a solid shooting upgrade.
In addition, more great cards like Alexander-Arnold, David Silva, Diaby or Arnautovic are included. However, the new Rulebreakers will likely not come cheaply given their strong values.
The complete Rulebreakers Team 1:
- Haaland (90)
- Casemiro (90)
- Alexander-Arnold (89)
- David Silva (87)
- Rüdiger (86)
- Dembélé (86)
- Diaby (86)
- Arnautovic (86)
- Coates (86)
- Onyeka (84)
- Ripart (83)
New Nkunku SBC lets you choose
This is the SBC: In a new Squad Building Challenge, you can obtain one of two cards for Nkunku from the Bundesliga. One features the offensive player with high shooting stats, and the other with a passing upgrade.
No Ultimate Scream again?
Now that the Rulebreakers event has started, it is to be expected that there will also be no Ultimate Scream event this year. This had been the typical Halloween event in FIFA until last year, but was replaced by Rulebreakers.
There are some Halloween cosmetics in the store and in Ultimate Team objectives. It is possible that these will remain the only Halloween content – after all, the spooky festival takes place this weekend.
Additionally, as usual, the Weekend League in FIFA 22 is scheduled for the weekend. It might be worth sinking a few free kicks into the opponent’s goal from time to time – you can find tips for free kicks in FIFA 22 here.
