However, a demo could certainly do the game good. Here are 3 reasons why FIFA 22 should get a demo.
Can you still play early? In FIFA 21, there were various ways to play the game early. The FIFA games are released in different editions, some of which grant early access. More about this can be found above in the “Release Date and Early Access” section.

What new features does FIFA 22 bring? FIFA 22 will showcase a whole range of new features. The new trailer from July 11, 2021 provided a glimpse into perhaps the biggest feature: The new “HyperMotion”.
This involves a whole load of new animations created based on motion capturing with real players. Over 4000 new animations are expected to find their way into the game, representing the largest animation overhaul in FIFA history. You can see the trailer here:
In addition, further new features were introduced. For example, there is improved AI, revamped goalkeepers, and a new type of card called FUT Heroes. More about this can be found in this article:
But that might not be everything. Here you will find a detailed list of features we would like to see in FIFA 22.

This is changing in FUT: In Ultimate Team, players can expect some changes. Among other things, the FUT Champions mode will be revamped and divided into Champions Play-Offs and the Finals. Additionally, the point system is being restructured: now, not just wins, but also losses and draws can earn you points.
Rewards for the Weekend League will now be given to you as soon as you finish your games. You no longer need to wait until the official reward day to receive them, but have the chance to get rewards faster.
The Division Rivals mode will also be adjusted. There will now be several seasons, linked to your rivals’ progress. At the start of each season, your progress will be reset to some extent, and you will need to fight your way up again.
In addition to the usual 10 divisions, there will also be an “Elite League” for the very best players in FUT.
Alongside the mode changes, many other new features will be introduced, such as:
- A new player view
- New settings for celebrations
- Competitive settings in certain modes
- An improved stadium customization
- New co-op matchmaking, enabling matches with random players
A detailed overview of all changes in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be found here.
Volta mode in FIFA 22 will be fundamentally improved
This is new: The Volta mode has struggled somewhat in recent years to find players. This year, the mode is primarily designed as a fun mode – a place where you can just have a bit of fun.
On one hand, the gameplay will lean even more towards the classic FIFA Street titles. This will be ensured by features like special power shots or unique abilities that you can unlock for your players.
Additionally, Volta will be equipped with an arcade mode, offering party football games, including modes like dodgeball or football tennis.
Everything about the revamped Volta mode in FIFA 22 can be found here.
