In FIFA 22 the Prime Gaming Pack 8 is still missing after several weeks of delay. What is the status of the free packs?
What is the Prime Gaming Pack? For some time now, Prime Gaming members can secure a so-called “Prime Gaming Pack” once a month. There are no additional costs if you have a membership, and it can then be redeemed in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
In the past, these packs often contained a loan player, some gold cards, and even player picks. So a nice addition when you want to improve your team in Ultimate Team.
However, the current “Prime Gaming Pack 8” has been missing for several weeks.
Amazon and EA are investigating the issue with the Prime Gaming Pack
This is the status: So far, the Prime Gaming Pack 8, which was supposed to be released in May, is still unavailable. In fact, FIFA 22 cannot be accessed at all when searching for it on the Prime Gaming site. Only if you go through Google Search can you find the page – and there still the announcement that the eighth pack will be “available soon.”
Meanwhile, both Amazon and EA have addressed the issue via social media. However, there is still no new timing for the release.
This is what Amazon and EA say: Through the official “Prime Gaming” account on Twitter, Amazon has reached out to the waiting players. They write there: “To all FIFA 22 players, unfortunately, the May Prime Gaming Pack has been delayed while the team investigates an issue. We are working on it and will keep you updated.”
EA also seems to be working on the problem but has no solution yet. The current update from the official “EA Help” account on Twitter regarding this states: “There was a technical issue that has prevented the release of Pack #8. Please continue to check the Prime page to see when it will be added. As of now, we have no date or time for you” (via Twitter).
It seems to be a bigger problem that is not easily solved. Players could really use any extra pack right now, during the TOTS event.
Because firstly, they give a small chance to pull a TOTS player, and secondly, they can provide cards to solve one of the many event SBCs.

Otherwise, you can still secure rewards through the current weekly objectives. However, some players are complaining that the tasks in FIFA 22 are simply too extensive.
