In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, the second Bundesliga POTM (Player of the Month) is now known. Christopher Nkunku has won the vote and will receive a great special card. We clarify whether you should go for it.
What is a POTM card? “POTM” stands for “Player of the Month” – meaning Player of the Month. It is awarded once a month for different leagues. For the month of September, Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen received the first Bundesliga POTM card in FUT 22.
This time, Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig has prevailed against his competition and is now the Player of the Month for October.
This is the new POTM card of Christopher Nkunku
Nkunku is having an outstanding season and has already received two Inform cards in FUT 22, with the strongest having a rating of 86. Additionally, there were two strong 86-rated cards for the Rulebreakers event, which are unfortunately no longer available.
However, the new POTM card offers the best stats of all Nkunku cards so far and excels especially in the areas of pace, shooting, passing, and dribbling. Comparing the new POTM card with his last TOTW card shows the improvements in all areas.
Here are the biggest jumps compared to his strongest TOTW card:
- Pace: 84 -> 86
- Shooting: 80 -> 82
- Passing: 87 -> 89
- Defending: 74 -> 77
- Physical: 73 -> 76

Is POTM Nkunku worth it for your team? The new Nkunku card is certainly better than his last TOTW card but also costs significantly more. To obtain the card, you will need to submit an impressive 4 teams, with a total value currently (as of November 18, 2021) at around 225,000 coins.
In contrast, his 86-rated TOTW card is almost a bargain. It can be obtained for about 50,000 coins on the FUT transfer market. While it has slightly weaker stats, it offers a much better price-performance ratio. If your FUT budget isn’t large, you might prefer the Inform card instead.
However, if you have the necessary coins lying around, POTM Nkunku with his fantastic stats will certainly not disappoint you.
What do you think of the new POTM card? Would you have preferred a different player? Let us know in the comments!
