For FIFA 22 the new Title Update 6 is coming. We show you what is included in the new patch and which bugs have been fixed.
When will Title Update 6 be released? As EA announced on Twitter, the new FIFA update was released today, on February 15, for the PC version of FIFA 22.
Typically, it takes a few days for the update to also become available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X as well as Stadia. As soon as the patch goes live for the consoles, you will find out here.
What changes with Title Update 6 in FIFA 22 – Patch Notes
The new Title Update 6 primarily addresses smaller, frustrating bugs. There are no major gameplay changes that could alter the meta this time.
You can find all changes at EA (via FIFA Forums), here we show you the most important:
Changes in Gameplay:
- Stepovers and flicks can now only be executed 500 milliseconds after you have flicked a player and selected the direction. The problem was that a skill move made it impossible to select the player’s direction.
- A bug with “Player Lock” has been fixed, which required it to be executed again.
- Rarely, shots after a skill move were not precise enough. This has been corrected.
- After “Player Lock” was activated, you could not switch to the desired player with the right stick.
- Occasionally, tackles could mistakenly be counted as fouls if the ball touched a certain part of the defender.
Changes in Ultimate Team:
- If a large number of packs were accumulated in the FUT Store, only a small portion of the packs could be displayed.
Changes in Career Mode:
- Manager interviews did not always affect team morale.
- The Asian International Cup did not display the correct team from the Indian Super League.
Changes in VOLTA and Pro Clubs:
- Two new party games are being added to VOLTA Arcade.
- In VOLTA Arcade, one-button controls will be disabled.
- A faulty pop-up in Pro Clubs that said the match search had failed has been removed.
Other Changes:
- Updates for kits, shoes, flags, banners, player pictures, commentary, corner flags, balls, and advertisements.
- 24 new game faces that will only come into the game with a future server update.
