The rumor mill is churning, and a new leak speaks of fresh Icon cards for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. We at MeinMMO reveal the leak and tell you which new Icon cards could be expected in the next FIFA installment.
This is what it’s about: Several FUT channels on Twitter report on a new leak regarding FIFA 22. It is said that EA has adjusted the FIFA code to add new Icon cards. Names of major football stars are being mentioned, who previously had no Icon cards in FIFA 21 and have already ended their careers.
This is a strong indication of new icons. However, it is unclear why the cards have shown up in the code of FIFA 21. Perhaps EA will release new Icon cards in an unknown event for FIFA 21? If that were the case, it is very likely that the cards will also be included in FIFA 22.
Will Mario Gomez get an Icon card in FIFA 22?
The following cards are being talked about: In addition to various big names in football, leaks also mention former German international Mario Gomez. He celebrated great successes in his career with VfB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, AC Florence, and Beşiktaş Istanbul, and is set to return as an Icon in FIFA 22. He would be the second German forward Icon alongside Miroslav Klose.
