FIFA 22 is undergoing maintenance today (February 23). As a result, matches in Ultimate Team and VOLTA are currently not possible. You can find out when the servers should be back online here.
Update, 12:10 PM: The servers seem to be partially online again and players are regaining access to FUT.
How long are the servers down? Today, maintenance of the servers is scheduled for FIFA 22. This will be communicated to players when starting the game in a new pop-up window.
According to EA, the server work is supposed to take place between 08:00 AM and 12:00 PM (German time). However, matchmaking for VOLTA and Ultimate Team was deactivated 30 minutes earlier (since 07:30 AM) to prevent sudden match interruptions.
Which modes are affected? The maintenance work today in FIFA 22 affects only the two online modes VOLTA and Ultimate Team. All other modes like Career Mode, Pro Clubs, as well as online and offline friendly matches should function without any issues and not be affected by the maintenance work.
What is being worked on? Why EA has to perform maintenance this morning has not been disclosed by the development studio. More stable servers are likely always welcome for FUT players.
However, it may also be that the maintenance work is related to Title Update 6. The patch was already released on February 15 for the PC version of FIFA 22. However, the update is still pending for the consoles PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
We hope that the maintenance work will be finished on time and that you can quickly start playing FUT matches again. Perhaps you want to earn tokens for Icon Swaps 2 directly? How to quickly get tokens and what you should pay attention to, we will tell you here:
