EA has announced a new promo called “Next Generation” for FIFA 22, where you can get free special cards. We explain how the event works and what new cards are available.

With the new Next Generation promo, EA is celebrating key moments in the careers of young players who could become world stars. In total, 6 new special cards are introduced, which every FIFA player can grab.
This is how the promo works: To get one of the six new players, you simply need to log in to FIFA 22 by January 14, 2022. If you do this, you will receive a presumably random, untradeable Next Generation card starting from December 15.
The action is reminiscent of a login event from the last FIFA year. Back then, there was a free David Beckham card.
These are the special cards offered by Next Generation
These are the new cards: The new promo features a total of 6 new cards, with Kylian Mbappé being the standout. Curiously, the Frenchman receives a weaker card compared to his normal Gold card. His rating decreases from 91 to 86, and notably, his once strong shooting stats suffer from the downgrade. Additionally, Mbappé changes position to the left wing.
The other cards are all improved. Foden (85), Pulisic (83), and Hernandez (85) will have a one-point increase in overall rating, and Bellingham even improves by 2 points compared to his standard card.
However, the strongest upgrade goes to Camavinga. His rating improves from 78 to 81.
