In FIFA 22 the FUT Birthday Event is now live. What contents the birthday promo has to offer can be found here.
What is FUT Birthday? The FUT Birthday event has been taking place annually since FIFA 14. It celebrates the birthday of Ultimate Team and features numerous new special cards, SBCs, and challenges.
When does the event start? The event started on March 4 at 19:00 in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
This is what the new cards can do: As in the previous year, this time it’s all about upgrades for weak foot and skill moves. The cards also receive significant upgrades to their stats.
FUT Birthday – All new special cards from Team 1
These players are included: The new FUT Birthday team is led by Cristiano Ronaldo (94), who receives a 5-star weak foot upgrade. He is followed by Suarez (93) with 5-star skill moves and Kroos (92) also with 5 stars in skill moves.
For Bundesliga teams, Hoffenheim’s Bebou (88) with 5 stars for weak foot could be a strong option for the attack.

These contents are available besides the promo squad:
- FUT Birthday Swaps brings new tokens into the game, which can be used to unlock players and packs. However, these need to be unlocked again through SBCs and challenges. In total, between March 4 and March 18, 24 Birthday Swap tokens can be collected.
- Various SBCs will reintroduce popular FUT cards from the past 14 years during the event.
- For logging into FUT during the event, every player receives a Rare Player Pack.
