How to play FIFA 22 before October 1 – Early Access and Ultimate Edition
If you want to play FIFA 22 before October 1, you can use various options.
Play FIFA 22 with EA Play for 10 hours – September 22, 2021
If you are an EA Play member, you get access to a so-called “early access trial” that is limited to 10 hours and available from September 22. Here you can play all modes of FIFA 22, but time is indeed limited. After the 10 hours, you will have to wait until October 1 to continue.
What is EA Play? EA Play is a subscription service from EA. With a membership, you can access certain games, secure bonuses, or get 10-hour trial versions before release. This is the case with FIFA 22 as well.
FIFA 22 with EA Play Pro – September 22, 2021 (unlimited)
As EA states on the FIFA 22 page (via EA), as an EA Play Pro member, you can access the Ultimate Edition via Origin or the EA app on Windows starting September 22. In this case, it is not a time-limited trial, but unlimited access.
What is EA Play Pro? EA Play Pro is a more expensive version of the subscription service that also gives additional access to deluxe versions of certain games. In this case, it applies to the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22, which will also be available from September 22 – so even a bit earlier than the normal pre-order version. However, EA Play Pro is only available on PC (Origin / EA Desktop App).
The Ultimate Edition – September 27, 2021
If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 22, you get early access of four days. With this game variant, you can play from September 27 – and in full. Additionally, the Ultimate Edition offers further bonuses, which you can find here.
However, the special edition is also significantly more expensive than the standard edition: on consoles, it costs 99.99 euros, on PC 79.99 euros. The standard version usually costs 20.00 euros less.

These are all the known options so far to access the game earlier. Furthermore, there will also be a web app this year, which allows you to build your Ultimate Team. All info about the web app can be found here.
