The Bundesliga season is coming to an end and the clubs are fighting to secure good positions on the table. In line with this, we take a look at the current TOTW table of the Ultimate Team season in FIFA 22.
Every week FIFA 22 distributes “Team of the Week” cards to players who have excelled with outstanding performances in real football. However, over the course of such a long season, some cards may be forgotten – especially since there are many other special cards that are less related to real performances.
We will take a look at how the Bundesliga appears in the TOTW ranking. Which club has gathered the most Inform players? Who is at the bottom? And how does your club perform?
Here is the overview as of the current date (April 23, 2022).
TOTW Ranking: The relegation zone from rank 18 to 14
Who is in 18th place? In fact, there is currently only one Bundesliga club that has not received a single TOTW card throughout FIFA 22: Arminia Bielefeld. The club also finds itself at the bottom of the Bundesliga standings, currently in 17th place and facing relegation. A few TOTW-worthy performances by the players could help secure their class in real football.
Places 17 – 14: These positions are shared by four clubs, each with a single TOTW card.
- The SpVgg Greuther Fürth received a card for Branimir Hrgota. Currently, Fürth is at the bottom of the Bundesliga table.
- Forward Gerrit Holtmann is the owner of the only VfL Bochum TOTW card so far. In the actual standings, Bochum is in a slightly more comfortable 12th place – mid-table.
- At VfB Stuttgart, Wataru Endo received a TOTW card. VfB is currently on the relegation spot in the basement.
- And with Union Berlin, a surprise is in the TOTW cellar: there was only one card here for Christopher Trimmel.
However, in the real table, Union is in 6th place, with hopes for European competition. Here, individual performances seem to play less of a role than the team structure.
The TOTW midfield – ranks 13 to 7
Ranks 13 – 12: Two clubs were able to secure two cards each: Hertha BSC and 1. FSV Mainz 05. Hertha currently stands further down in the real table, in 15th place, facing acute relegation danger. Mainz, on the other hand, is fairly safe in 9th place.
Ranks 11 – 10: Two more clubs managed to secure three cards each and are thus in the middle of the table: VfL Wolfsburg and FC Augsburg. They are tied in 11th and 10th place. Interestingly, they are also current neighbors in the real table – but in 13th and 14th place. Close call!
Ranks 9 – 8: Here too, two teams can be found with an equal number of cards: Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Köln have both earned 4 TOTW cards so far. Köln is even slightly higher in the actual table, in 7th place. Frankfurt, however, is in 10th place, just behind their own TOTW position. After their victory over Barcelona, the Frankfurters are likely focusing more on Europe than on the Bundesliga.
Rank 7: The seventh place is held by SC Freiburg with exactly 7 TOTW cards. Here, offensive player Vincenzo Grifo stands out as a repeat offender: he has already collected three TOTW cards. In real football, things are looking even better for Freiburg, as they are in 5th place in the table, looking upwards, and have also reached the DFB-Pokal final. It is quite possible that they will not remain at 7 cards until the end of the season.
The TOTW top: ranks 6 to 1
Ranks 6 and 5: Here are two teams that have both reached 8 cards. The first is TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, who owe much to defender David Raum: he earned 3 TOTW cards personally. In real football, Hoffenheim is currently lower down, in 8th place.
The second team is the actual real table second from Dortmund. At BVB, the cards are distributed quite well: Haaland, Meunier, Akanji, Can, Brandt, and Reus each collected one card. Only Jude Bellingham, one of the top talents in FIFA 22, received 2 TOTW cards.

Rank 4: Bayer Leverkusen can celebrate a double-digit number of TOTW cards, as 10 cards have been awarded to the “Werkself” so far. Here too, there is an MVP: winger Moussa Diaby collected 3 cards. In the Bundesliga, Leverkusen is also in 4th place – “Viererkusen” instead of “Vizekusen”.
Rank 3: Here stands – just like in the real table – RB Leipzig. Keeper Gulácsi collected 2 of them, and forward Nkunku likewise. Nkunku has made a name for himself in FIFA 22 as a player who constantly gets special cards. It is quite possible that more will come.
Rank 2: The most impressive leap: In 2nd place is Borussia Mönchengladbach with a total of 11 TOTW cards. Notably, goalkeeper Yann Sommer collected 3 of these cards. Even more notably: In the real Bundesliga table, Gladbach is in 11th place and has nothing to do with the title race or European competition.
Rank 1: A big surprise: FC Bayern Munich stands 1st in the TOTW ranking, just like in the real Bundesliga. With 15 cards, the record champion has more TOTW cards than the combined total of ranks 18 to 11.
In particular, Joshua Kimmich stands out here, having received 3 TOTW cards. He is followed by double cards for Müller, Coman, Lewandowski, and Upamecano. Gnabry, Goretzka, Neuer, and Süle each secured one.
