In FIFA 22, season 4 has begun. This brings some changes to Ultimate Team, especially affecting the Division Rivals mode and its rewards.
What’s new in FUT? A new season has started in Ultimate Team. This means: There is a new season progress on which you can earn rewards. Additionally, at the start of season 4, the Future Stars event is taking place.
There are no changes this time regarding the Weekend League qualification, but there are innovations in the “Division Rivals” mode. We’ll show you those here.
More wins needed for rewards
Previously, you needed to collect 3 wins per week for weekly rewards. Then there was the usual rewards set on Thursday. You could enhance this if you achieved 7 wins – then you received the “bonus upgrade.”
From season 4 onwards, the numbers will change slightly:
- For the regular weekly reward, you now need 4 wins.
- For the bonus upgrade, 8 wins are necessary.
It will thus be slightly more difficult to get the rewards. However, this is not the only change.
No more ranks – only divisions.
If you look at the rank system in Rivals, you’ll notice a difference. The ladder with the divisions remains, but all the intermediate ranks within the divisions are gone.
Instead, you will now only find a single rank per division, where you receive rewards – always immediately upon promotion to that division.
The rest of the division now consists only of checkpoints that secure your progress, as well as points that have no function.
You can accelerate it as usual when you build a winning streak. Then you always get two jumps on the ladder per win, until you lose.
New rewards in Division Rivals
Since there are no ranks in the individual divisions anymore, the reward system has also changed. There are now only two reward options per division – the weekly bonus and the bonus upgrade. For both variants, you can still choose from three options.
The rewards now look like this:
Division 10
- Weekly bonus
- Option 1: 1 Gold Pack, 1 Mixed Players Pack (small), 50 Champs Points
- Option 2: 2 Gold Packs (untradeable), 1 Mixed Players Pack (small)(untradeable), 50 Champs Points
- Option 3: 1 Gold Pack (untradeable), 1 Mixed Players Pack (small)(untradeable), 50 Champs Points, 2,000 Coins
- Bonus upgrade:
- Option 1: 1 Premium Gold Pack, 1 Gold Players Pack (small), 50 Champs Points
- Option 2: 2 Premium Gold Packs (untradeable), 2 Gold Players Packs (small)(untradeable), 50 Champs Points
- Option 3: 1 Premium Gold Pack (untradeable), 1 Gold Players Pack (small)(untradeable), 50 Champs Points, 4,000 Coins
You would always receive this reward in Division 10 – no matter where you are in the ladder of the respective division. Ascending to higher divisions will be more exciting, as the rewards are significantly better in the higher divisions.
Besides the Division Rivals rewards, it’s worth currently hunting for Future Stars Tokens. You can find the current overview of all Future Stars Tokens here.
