In FIFA 21, you can earn rewards through Division Rivals. When do the rewards arrive in Ultimate Team?
What are Division Rivals in FIFA 21? Division Rivals is an important game mode in Ultimate Team. Through Rivals, you earn weekly points that regularly grant you rewards. Additionally, you qualify for the FUT Champions Weekend League here – the mode with the best rewards in FUT 21.
- Division Rivals consists of the eponymous divisions. There are 10 divisions in which you are placed based on your skill points. If you are just starting with FIFA 21, you can either qualify for a division in Rivals through 5 placement matches against real opponents or via Squad Battles. Depending on your performance, you will be ranked higher or lower.
- If you are promoted to a higher division due to your skill rating, there are new coin bonuses. This is part of the new features in FUT 21.
- The rewards differ from division to division. Rewards in Division 1 are better than in Division 10.
- Within each division, there are six ranks. To climb the ranks, you need to accumulate as many weekly points through victories as possible.
- Per week, you can play 30 Rivals matches that count towards the weekly ranking. After these 30 matches, the games no longer earn you weekly points. After that, Rivals can only be used for objectives, skill ratings, or division promotions until the next week.
Division Rivals Rewards – Day and Time
When do Division Rivals start? The new Rivals week always begins on Thursdays around 09:00 AM. At this point, the previous week’s competition ends. Then, your ranks are reset, and you can start earning points again. Important: You retain your division.
When do the rewards arrive? The weekly rewards come on Thursdays around 09:00 AM. At least this is the case during the winter.
What do Division Rivals Rewards look like?
What rewards can I choose from? Depending on your rank, you have different options to choose from. Usually, you can choose between:
- Coins
- Tradable packs
- Untradeable, but double the packs
The coins and players you get from that can be used, for example, for smart trading in FIFA 21.

What should be noted about the ranks? The ranks are not static but are relative to the community. This means: If you reach Rank 1 on Friday after 10 games, you can still be dropped to a lower rank the following Thursday because other players passed you.
What are FUT Champions Points?
This is what you need the points for: With FUT Champions Points, you don’t get new players, but they are still important. Because: With 2000 points, you qualify for the Weekend League in FIFA 21. Depending on your division, you receive a different number of points for a win.
