Here we go, the first Team of the Week (TOTW 1) for FIFA 21 is here. We will tell you which players could be in the first Team of the Week.
What is the Team of the Week? EA Sports selects 23 players each week who have shown outstanding performances in real football. These players are rewarded with improved Inform cards and can be found in FUT packs for one week.
The TOTW is only available weekly in the Ultimate Team mode of FIFA 21.
What are TOTW Predictions? In the Predictions, the FIFA community tries to estimate which players could make it into EA’s Team of the Week.
This is based on the actual performances of football players from the weekend. The better the player’s performance, the more likely they are to get a spot in the Team of the Week.

Possible Bundesliga Players in TOTW 1
These Bundesliga players could be included:
- Niclas Füllkrug led Werder Bremen to victory with 3 goals against Schalke 04 and thus qualifies for a spot in the first TOTW of FIFA 21. If he doesn’t appear in the Team of the Week, it would be very unusual.
- Andrej Kramaric scored 2 goals against Bayern Munich and thus played a significant role in Hoffenheim’s victory. An TOTW card should therefore be likely.
When does the first TOTW come out? EA has confirmed that the first TOTW will arrive on Wednesday, September 30. The players of TOTW 1 should then be available in the Web App from 7 PM. The Inform cards will remain in packs for one week, until October 7.
Why is the TOTW coming out so early? This year, the first TOTW is released before the release of FIFA 21, which means that buyers of the Standard Edition (release October 9) will miss out on TOTW 1. However, if you have early access to the game, through EA Play or the Champions or Ultimate Edition, then you have the chance to pull players from the first Team of the Week in packs.
