Even before FIFA 21 was released, FIFA streamers were already allowed into the game and are actively opening packs there. Meanwhile, the yield from the pack openings is remarkably good.
What was going on? Even before the official early access, some well-known FIFA YouTubers and streamers were allowed to start the FIFA season. EA refers to this selected circle as “EA Gamechanger.” They already have access to the game and can open packs, build teams, and try out the gameplay innovations.
When can you play FIFA 21? FIFA 21 officially releases in the standard version on October 9. However, early access is available with an EA Play membership or by purchasing a special edition of FIFA 21.
The cards the FIFA streamers got
On YouTube and Twitch, there are tons of videos from “Gamechangers” who are already opening numerous packs in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. It’s insane that some streamers have real pack luck and pull extremely strong cards.
These are the cards the streamers got: The craziest card pulled by the FIFA streamers is probably by MattHDGamer (via Twitch). He actually pulls one of the best Icon cards in the game from a Rare Gold Pack: 91-rated Pelé. An incredibly good card that many FUT players can’t even afford in the endgame.

But YouTuber REEV (via YouTube) also has extreme luck, pulling the best Gold card in FUT 21 with Lionel Messi. This will likely fetch prices in the millions, especially at the beginning of the game.
Another YouTuber with huge luck is ZerkaaPlays (via YouTube). He pulls Kylian Mbappé from a Rare Gold Pack during a recording. A card that will likely be among the most sought-after forwards in FIFA 21.

Why are streamers pulling such strong cards? It’s important to know that many FIFA streamers are not hesitant to invest a lot of real money into FIFA Points and are therefore able to open a massive amount of sets. It’s clear that one or another strong card will come out of that.
The expensive packs, FIFA Points, and corresponding streams have led to increasing criticism. Especially after EA advertised the purchase of FIFA Points in a toy catalog.
The criticism is shared by German FIFA professional Tim Latka, who intends to completely refrain from FIFA Points in FIFA 21 and want to build a competitive FUT team entirely without real money.
