EA Play users currently do not have access to FIFA 21, the Early Access is failing. They see the message “The content cannot be used.” What is going on?
What is this FIFA error on PS4? Although EA Play members on PlayStation 4 should currently have 10-hour access to the game, even before the release of FIFA 21, there are problems. The game simply cannot be started.
Players have a lock in front of their FIFA 21 icon and are greeted with the message
- “The content cannot be used”
- or “A server connection could not be established for license verification”
After that, nothing happens – FIFA 21 simply does not start.
Other FIFA players report that the Early Access has simply disappeared. The PlayStation only shows the countdown until the release of FIFA 21, and starting is not possible here either.
How can the problem be solved?
Here are some steps to try: For some players, restoring the licenses seems to resolve the problem.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to “Settings” on your PlayStation 4
- Then to “Account Management”
- And then at the bottom click on “Restore Licenses”
- Finally, click on “Restore”
- A restart of the console is recommended
Your PS4 licenses will now be reloaded, and with a bit of luck, FIFA 21 can be started again. However, there is no guarantee that this solution will work for every user.
