What’s going on? Just like last week, at the release of the first Rulebreakers team, the FIFA servers are having problems again this Friday evening. This time, coinciding with the release of Rulebreakers Team 2.
These are the problems: Some players are reporting on Twitter and reddit (via reddit) that they are having connection difficulties. They are unable to log into FIFA 21’s online services or use the web app.
Additionally, there are players who can get into Ultimate Team, but are immediately kicked from a match, making it impossible to play.
Another issue seems to be that the game just crashes in the menu:
Not everyone is having problems: Apparently, this time not all FIFA players are affected by the outage. Reports are increasing from players who can get into the game without any issues and also participate in matches.
EA servers down again for event and Weekend League
Again for the event: Currently, the Weekend League and the Rulebreakers event are taking place in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. It is quite possible that a large influx is responsible for the server issues.
If the servers should go down for longer periods again, then an extension of the FUT Champions Weekend League seems realistic. This has already been the case in the last two weeks.
