Tonight, on November 6th, the “Road to the Final” event starts in FIFA 21. The road to the final brings strong Champions League cards – who could be there?
When does the event start? The “Road to the Final” started tonight at 7 PM. The players are currently available in packs as well as on the transfer market. In addition, there are weekly objectives and SBC players.
This is the RTTF event: The Road-to-the-Final cards that come into play for the RTTF event are directly related to the Champions League. Players from teams participating in the European competition can receive special cards here. There are also some cards related to the Europa League.
The special thing about RTTF cards is that they become stronger the further the player’s team progresses in the competition. Last year, it was Bayern players like Coman who were extremely strong in the end – Bayern Munich ultimately won the competition.
Once a team is eliminated, the upgrades for the respective cards end. Surprising results in real football can thus have a direct impact on the strength of the cards, and therefore the transfer market. This creates a lot of excitement – in FIFA 19, the transfer market was shaken up significantly one evening.

These players are particularly exciting: In principle, all players in the team have the potential to become exciting, depending on how far they progress. From a Bundesliga perspective, however, three cards are particularly interesting: Davies, Zakaria, and Klostermann.
All three are already very popular Bundesliga cards and would, even in their unenhanced form, be very good additions to Bundesliga teams. If they receive further upgrades, they will become even more interesting.
For Premier League players, an interesting card is Mason Mount from Chelsea FC in the player SBCs. In the weekly objectives, you can find an RTTF variant of Sevilla defender Koundé.
