The Bundesliga POTM in FIFA 21 is well-known. André Silva from Eintracht Frankfurt has secured the title and the special SBC – despite fierce competition.
This is the POTM: The POTM is the “Player of the Month”, which is determined every month through a vote that players and fans can participate in.
The latest POTM title was awarded retroactively for the month of January. And the Player of the Month for January is: André Silva from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Voting despite fierce competition: In the voting for the POTM, André Silva prevailed against notable competition. Alongside him, three players from FC Bayern were nominated: Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, and Thomas Müller. Additionally, Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and André Silva’s teammate Filip Kostić were also in the running.
Especially Lewandowski, Kimmich or even Sancho could have been considered favorites here. In FIFA 21, the POTM always receives a strong upgrade and the three could have possibly received stronger cards.
However, the choice fell on André Silva, who thus replaces the last POTM Lars Stindl. And not without reason: The Frankfurt player scored 7 goals in 6 matches in January, netting three times twice. Overall, he has already scored 18 goals in this season’s 20 league appearances – quite a strong value. Silva was even nominated for the TOTY.
Easy to complete POTM Silva SBC
How to get the card: To get Silva’s POTM card, you need to complete the POTM SBC in Ultimate Team. This month, it consists of just one team with the following requirements:
- At least 1 Bundesliga player
- At least 1 TOTW player
- At least 83 team rating
- And at least 80 team chemistry
Overall, it is easy to solve if you still have a few 83-rated players in your club and only need to buy individual cards. Starting completely from scratch, the SBC solutions are currently estimated at futbin at about 60,000 coins.
Is the card worth it? 60,000 coins may be a bit much for the card compared to other top strikers. But if you have some SBC fodder left, the card can definitely be worth it. Silva might not have much pace, but he has decent dribbling and shooting stats. With a chemistry style that boosts pace, the stats look quite good. At least for fans, the card is definitely an option.
