In just under a month, FIFA 21 will be released, but leaks about Ultimate Team have already surfaced, showing the new pack animations.
In FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, packs will ideally be opened in abundance with as many walkouts as possible. What’s exciting is how the new pack animations look and what clues to pay attention to this time in order to identify strong cards early.
Various leaks now show supposed FIFA 21 pack animations. We at MeinMMO have taken a look at them.

Where do the leaks come from? In recent weeks, there seems to have been a closed beta phase for FIFA 21. It’s not clear who had access and who spread the leaks.
If you search for pack openings for FIFA 21 on YouTube, you’ll find several results. Including this video:
It’s surprising that this video has been online for a few days and hasn’t been taken offline yet.
What can be seen in the videos? In the various videos, FUT 21 packs are opened in succession. Including different “Ultimate Packs” as well as an “Ultimate TOTW Pack”.
What’s exciting are the supposedly new animations, which strongly resemble FUT 20. Because there too, you went through a tunnel to the best card of the pack. The better the card, the longer the path through the tunnel. Really strong cards awaited the FUT players in the stadium.
This seems to be quite similar in FIFA 21 if you look at the leaks. Here too, the sequence of the pack animation is almost identical to FIFA 20. The only difference lies in the presentation. There are new effects and the tunnel as well as the stadium are designed differently.
Additionally, some ratings of various players can be seen, which still seem to be based on the values from FIFA 20.
How to recognize strong cards? A first clue for a walkout in FUT 21 seems to be the vertical lights on the left side of the door. Before it opens, there are 3 lights visible on the left. However, for a walkout, the third light does not light up.
In contrast to weaker cards, because all 3 lights always light up there.
Are the leaks authentic? Whether these leaks actually represent the real pack animations from FIFA 21 can’t be said for sure. However, they definitely look realistic. If it’s a fake, then it would be a pretty elaborate one.
