When does Icon Swaps 2 start? Icon Swaps 2 starts today, on February 19, 2021, at 7:00 PM. This is confirmed by a new loading screen in Ultimate Team.
This is Icon Swaps 2: The Icon Swaps are a way for players to earn icons through special tasks. There has already been a first batch of Icon Swaps, which included legends like Henry as well as special pack rewards.
The first Icon Swaps have now expired. Many players were actually expecting a release of the second round at the end of Season 4 last week. But instead, only the second Future Stars team appeared.
What speaks for the Winter Refresh?
This is the Winter Refresh: The Winter Refresh is the ratings upgrade at the halfway point of the season. Players who performed strongly in real football during the first half receive better cards. Some special cards of these players, such as certain POTM cards, were also retrospectively improved last year. Additionally, the Winter Refresh in FIFA 20 also introduced a Winter-Refresh team, with even better special cards.

What clues are there? Unlike the Icon Swaps 2, the Winter Refresh has not yet been confirmed. However, compared to FIFA 20, the timeframe would fit. In FIFA 20, the Winter Refresh came on Friday, February 14.
This would fit the time window this week as well, especially since the ongoing Future Stars event ends on Friday and there is room for a new event. Icon Swaps is not a specific team that goes into packs, but rather a series of tasks. Accordingly, there would still be room for another proper event.
However, the Winter Refresh is not officially confirmed yet, so it is conceivable that today only Icon Swaps 2 is on the agenda.
New Icon Moments found: Via reddit, some players showed that with the new Title Update 10, new images for Prime Icon Moments were also added to the game’s code. User alekseyrain showcased this in a post:
Prime Icon Moments are a fourth, further improved version of the already available icons in the game. They refer to legendary moments throughout the careers of these players.
The update could be preparation for the upcoming event. Last year, the Winter Refresh and the Prime Icon Moments were released simultaneously – it is conceivable that this will also be the case this year.
