Why should you recognize Walkouts? If you have saved up some coins or earned a few packs in Ultimate Team, then you can host a pack opening and hope that a top player is included.
However, the pack animations are getting longer and more impressive each year, so opening multiple packs at once can stretch out quite a bit. Recognizing good cards early can save a lot of time. Because as soon as you know that it’s not a top card, you can skip the pack animation with a clear conscience.
However, if it is a Walkout, you enjoy watching the animation in all its glory.

This is how you recognize the different pack animations in FUT 21
There are various animations: Just like in FIFA 20, in FIFA 21 you will again drive through a tunnel towards the football field. In this tunnel, the best card of the pack is presented to you. If you’re lucky, the ride even continues to the stadium, where perhaps a Walkout is waiting for you.
The different cards can already be recognized before the animation is finished. You can spot a Walkout within the first few seconds. We explain what to look out for.
Standard Gold and Rare Gold Card
The difference between a Standard Gold and a Rare Gold card is not so easy to spot.
This is what you need to pay attention to: You need to look closely, because the better, Rare Gold card (right) has more details around the goal than the Standard Gold card (left). There are more lights and decorations than with the Standard Gold card, where the lights do not shine as brightly.
If you see hardly any details around the goal while opening the pack and somewhat dimmer lights, then you can skip the set directly. You shouldn’t expect a good card.
Rare Gold Card and Rare Gold Card between 83 and 85
Whether you get a strong Rare Gold card with a rating between 83 and 85 is difficult to recognize. You need to look very closely.
This is what you need to pay attention to: As soon as you know it’s a Rare Gold card, you need to determine if it’s also strong (rating between 83 and 85). For this, as soon as the goal opens, look all the way back at the exit.
If you see a gold bar at the bottom, then it’s a Rare Gold card with a rating between 83 and 85 (right). However, if you see black elements at the bottom, you can be sure that you will only receive a Rare Gold card with a rating below 83.
This is the Walkout Animation
In fact, it is easiest to recognize a Walkout in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team. You just need to know what to look for.
This is what you need to pay attention to: Even before the goal opens, you can see three lamps on each side. Pay attention to the lamps on the left side. If the third lamp from the left does not light up, you can look forward to a Walkout. And maybe even an Icon card?
By the way: The goal and the walls of the tunnel can also have different colors. This depends on the special card that is waiting for you in the pack.
