Erling Haaland is the new Bundesliga POTM in FIFA 21. His card looks incredibly strong, but it also costs quite a bit of coins. Nevertheless, it’s worth it.
This is Haaland as POTM: Every month, there is a new POTM in the big leagues of FIFA 21, meaning the “Player of the Month”. This player then gets a new special card that comes with improved stats and can be unlocked through a Squad Building Challenge.
For the Bundesliga this month, it is Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. And he received a special card that is quite impressive. After already being in the TOTW twice and also receiving a Champions League card, his new POTM card now has an overall rating of 90.
Is the Haaland SBC worth it for the POTM card?
This is how strong the card is: This Haaland card lacks very little. His pace stat is 90, consisting of 86 acceleration and 94 sprint speed. The shots are rated at 94, with almost all shot stats above 90 – only volleys (89) and penalties (86) are slightly lower. Additionally, there is a massive physicality stat of 91 and decent dribbling with 85.
Does it have weaknesses? Only in passing and defending does the card have somewhat of weaknesses. Also, Haaland has only three stars on his weak foot and skills, making him not the best dribbler and he should prefer to shoot with his stronger left foot. Nevertheless, based on his stats, his shots should be difficult to stop once he is in front of the opponent’s goal.
What does the card cost? Haaland is not a real bargain; you have to invest a bit for him. Three partial SBCs need to be completed.

- An 84-rated team with one Dortmund and one TOTW player and 80 chemistry.
- An 85-rated team with 75 chemistry and at least one Bundesliga player.
- An 85-rated team with 70 chemistry and one TOTW player.
