In FIFA 21, the first Weekend League was supposed to start today, on October 16, 2020. However, the start of FUT Champions is being postponed. Here is everything you need to know.
Many FUT players were probably looking forward to the start of the first FUT Champions Weekend League in FIFA 21 and have assembled strong teams. But EA is now postponing the weekend tournament shortly before its start.
What happened? EA Sports announced on Twitter that the start of the Weekend League will be delayed by 24 hours due to unforeseen circumstances.
This means that the first Weekend League in FIFA 21 will now begin on Saturday and not today, Friday.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the upcoming FUT Champions Weekend League has been delayed by 24 hours.

Additionally, this Weekend League will be extended by 24 hours to compensate for the delayed start time.
When does the Weekend League start now? When you log into FIFA 21 Ultimate, you can see the new start times. Here they are:
- Start: Saturday, October 17 at 09:00 AM
- End: Tuesday, October 19 at 09:00 AM
What about the FUT Champions Points? EA announced compensation in a second tweet. All players who redeem their 2,000 FUT Champions Points for the first Weekend League will receive another 2,000 FUT Champions from EA for the second Weekend League next week (October 23 to 25).
This means FUT players can directly participate in the second Weekend League without having to collect another 2,000 points for qualification.
This is not bad for players who cannot complete all 30 games due to the sudden postponement of the Weekend League.
How about you, will you participate in the delayed Weekend League? Or will you stay with Division Rivals for now and earn rewards there?
