EA Sports is currently performing maintenance on the servers in FIFA 21. Entry into matches is currently disabled.
This is how long the maintenance will last: As the channel “FIFA Direct Communication” announced via Twitter, the maintenance on the servers has been temporarily scheduled for 08:00 AM. Half an hour earlier, entry into matches in Ultimate Team and VOLTA was already disabled to prevent players from getting kicked out in the middle of a match. The end of the maintenance is currently set for 11:00 AM German time.
Can you collect Weekend League rewards?
Currently, you can still access the menus in Ultimate Team; the web app and companion app are also accessible at this time. Both the Division Rivals rewards and the Weekend League rewards can be collected now.
However, it is emphasized that during the maintenance period, there may be disconnections on all platforms or that the connection to the EA server may not be possible at all. The affected versions are FIFA 21 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Once the maintenance is completed, players should be able to enter matches normally again. This Thursday, the Division Rivals will be reset – you can now start collecting new points for weekly rewards again. Additionally, you can still gather the necessary points to qualify for the upcoming Weekend League.
The current Weekend League might even be particularly rewarding: This week, there is again the Weekend League Plus bonus that gives you extra picks from the Team of the Week. Overall, there are three tiers of wins for which you will receive a player pick with special cards. And the current TOTW 24 is actually quite good.
