After a major disruption, the servers in FIFA 21 are now running normally again. Players can now participate in online matches and the Weekend League again. The Weekend League will be extended once more.
What happened? Yesterday, on October 23, there were massive server issues in FIFA 21 starting at 7:00 PM. Players could not use any online services from FIFA and consequently could not participate in Weekend League matches or use any other online modes.
It was also not possible to log in to the web or companion app.
Especially frustrating: The disruption of the FIFA servers started just in time for the new Rulebreakers event, which brought numerous new special cards into the game.
The Weekend League is being extended once again
What’s next? Since 3:33 AM, the servers have been running normally again, allowing players to participate in online games. This was announced by EA via Twitter.
Logging into the web and companion app for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team is also possible again.
What about the Weekend League? The second Weekend League in Ultimate Team was actually supposed to start yesterday. But from 7:00 PM, no games were possible. EA Sports announced that the Weekend League will be extended by another 24 hours this weekend. It will now end on Tuesday morning.
This was already the case last week when it was announced in advance last week.
When will the Weekend League now end? You now have until Tuesday, October 27 at 09:00 AM to complete your 30 Weekend League matches.
