You want to start the new FUT season in FIFA 21 with a Bundesliga team? Then we have a team for you to kick off.
What kind of team is this? Of course: If you have already filled your FUT account with a lot of coins and can freely act in the transfer market, you can simply buy the best Bundesliga team. Players like Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich, or Erling Haaland are in there. But: Very few have those coins at the start of the game. Wild trading via Web App or Companion App doesn’t help much either.
But even if you don’t have too many coins on hand, the Bundesliga offers several players that are great for starting in FUT. They may not be the absolute meta-players that can wipe the floor with every opponent. However: They are more than enough for a decent start.
This Bundesliga team is perfect for starting
Which players are in the team? We looked at a Bundesliga team that is as affordable as possible, yet still competitive. The market value of the players should ideally not exceed 5,000 coins – and if possible, be below that. Using the team builder, we composed the following team:

As of now, this team costs 38,000 coins on the transfer market. However, the price may change over the coming days – either upwards or downwards. Nonetheless, each of these players can be a good starting point for a Bundesliga team in FUT. We explained why these players are included here:
- Hwang Hee Chan: The Leipzig player currently costs around 3,000 coins and can help you mainly with pace in the attack. He is solid in dribbling and shooting as well.
- Kramaric: The Hoffenheim player has been a good choice for starter teams for years, and this also applies in FIFA 21 – although he received a downgrade in the new ratings. However, he still has good attacking stats and 4 stars for skills and weak foot. Cost: About 2,000 coins.
- Hazard: Thorgan Hazard also has 4 stars for skills and weak foot and good dribbling and pace stats. He should be an asset on the wing, currently costing 4,500 coins.
- Bellarabi: The forward is an exception on the list because the other strong alternatives on the right wing in the Bundesliga are still more expensive. He is at 6,000 coins, but he is very fast and good at dribbling.
- Tolisso: In the Bundesliga, there are only a few center midfielders with good stats whose prices do not explode quickly. Tolisso is solid in all areas and can justify his 4,500 coins well.
- Delaney: Delaney is also an exception: He costs around 6,000 coins, but comparable alternatives like Laimer or Can are still expensive. However, Delaney can also justify the price with generally solid stats.
- Günter: The left-back does not have the highest overall rating, but has good stats in pace, defending, and physicality. He is significantly cheaper than alternatives in the position at 3,900 coins.
- Piszczek: The Dortmund player has switched from right-back to center-back and has decent stats across the board. The price is manageable at 2,400 coins.
- Hinteregger: He has comparable stats to Piszczek and should act as a good duo partner for the Dortmund player. Cost: Around 2,700 coins.
- Lainer: Gladbach’s right-back is much more affordable than the competition at the position and costs 2,200 coins. The stats suggest a solid defender who can also make a few runs forward. He probably won’t score any goals though.
- Hradecky: The Bundesliga has many good, affordable goalkeepers. With Hradecky, you have a good cost-performance ratio at around 2,000 coins.
