Today marks the start of the FIFA 20 TOTS event, kicking off with the Community Team of the Season So Far. Additionally, the final tasks for Icon Swaps 3 commence.
TOTS stands for this FUT year as TOTSSF (Team of the Season So Far) and begins today, April 24. FUT players can look forward to numerous new content over the coming weeks, including: hundreds of strong TOTSSF cards, SBCs, and new tasks.
Furthermore, the last Swap Tokens for Icon Swaps 3 are coming into play today. Many FUT players can finally earn their desired Icon.
What is the Community Team of the Season? With this squad, fans had the ability to choose. Voting was open until April 19. Players eligible for selection were those who had outstanding performances during the current 2019/2020 season but managed to be in Team of the Week or Team of the Week Moments at most once.
This is what changes for the Weekend League: From now on, playing FUT Champions is far more rewarding, as instead of the previous TOTW or TOTW Moments cards, TOTSSF cards will be integrated as rewards.
This means that with 11 wins in the Weekend League, you will receive a Player Pick with a TOTSSF card. The more wins you achieve, the more TOTSSF cards will be available as rewards.

How to get the new TOTSSF cards
From Packs: You have the chance to obtain TOTSSF cards in the following packs:
- Gold Pack (5,000 coins)
- Premium Gold Pack (7,500 coins)
- or from other special and promo packs
However, to actually pull a TOTSSF card from packs, you need to have a lot of luck.
On the Transfer Market: It is wiser to use the FUT Transfer Market. There, you can find TOTSSF cards relatively quickly. Just wait a bit before you buy. Often, prices drop significantly after a few days.
What is the Team of the Season actually?
This is what happens during the event: For many FUT players, the TOTS/TOTSSF event is the highlight of the FIFA year. A large number of players receive specially enhanced blue cards that are far better than pretty much any special cards before.
This is how the event works: During the TOTS event, a new team of 23 players is released each week. The number of new, extremely strong TOTS cards is huge. During the TOTY event (Team of the Year), there was only one team with 11 very strong TOTY cards.
How strong the TOTS cards are: For top stars from the major leagues, Team of the Season ratings can reach the high 90s. Generally, upgrades of 6 to 10 points are not uncommon.
Otherwise, the TOTSSF cards behave like Inform cards. While a TOTS team is active, the TOTSSF versions replace the normal Gold cards.
