In FIFA 20, the new “Summer Heat” event begins on Wednesday, June 17th. But what kind of content could the event bring?
The TOTSSF event is over and the next FUT event is already upon us. On Wednesday, the new Summer Heat promo starts, and we take a look at the possible content.
What is Summer Heat? So far, not much is officially known about the content of the Summer Heat event. EA Sports has announced the event only via Twitter and the FUT loading screen for June 17th.
This is a rather unusual day for a FUT event, as promos usually release on Fridays in Ultimate Team.
What do we officially know so far? Regarding the Summer Heat event, we only know the release date and the new card design so far. Which players will receive new special cards and what other content there will be, is not yet known.
However, there are indications of the direction the event could take, and FUT fans have already made initial assumptions.
What FUT players can expect
These are the speculated contents: On the internet (via reddit), there is a lot of discussion and speculation about the new FUT event. FUT players analyze all available snippets of information to find out something about the new event. Especially the second FUT loading screen gives initial hints.
The screen shows parts of various FUT card designs and logos of older FUT special cards. You can discern these special cards on the loading screen:
Players thus speculate a re-release of various special cards from the past FUT year, which could now receive even stronger values as Summer Heat cards. For example, an 87-rated Scream Dzeko could receive an improved card with stats in the 90 range with the new Summer Heat event.
This sounds plausible to many FUT players, and they are already hoping for numerous SBC cards to return that are supposed to be improved with the Summer Heat event (via reddit).
