Why are the OTW important in FIFA 20 now? Many players have already started in FIFA 20 FUT via EA Access or Origin Access. In a few hours, a lot of other players will also begin through the Early Access with the more expensive editions.
And many of these players are currently asking: “When will I receive the OTW card that was promised to me as a pre-order bonus?” Because at the moment, no one has received this yet.
What is the OTW pre-order bonus about? Anyone who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 20 before August 5th will receive a card of an OTW player in FUT 20.
There was quite a stir recently for pre-orderers on PS4 because the PS Store secretly canceled the pre-order before 5.8 and added it again in early September. But according to Sony, this should not affect the pre-order content.
When will pre-orderers receive their OTW player pack in Ultimate Team?
When are the OTW coming? As the fifauteam site states, you will receive the OTW player on September 27th – that’s this coming Friday and simultaneously the worldwide release date for FIFA 20. You will then receive an OTW pack containing a random player.

How many OTW are there? It is expected that there will be 23 Ones to Watch at the start in FIFA 20, just like in previous years. Currently, eight of them are known.

How does one become an OTW? Only players who changed clubs in the summer have a chance to receive an OTW special card at the start of FUT 20.
The remaining OTW cards with ratings should be released in the coming days.
What is special about OTW? They are dynamic cards – that means: Every time an OTW player receives a TOTW card or another special card during FUT 20, their OTW card will automatically be adjusted to this card and will maintain the higher rating.
In other words: The better the player performs in real football (and thus receives a special card from EA Sports), the better your OTW card will be throughout the season. There will then be a form boost corresponding to the latest values.
Once the OTW event starts, the cards will be available in packs. After the event, you can only purchase the OTW through the transfer market, where they are usually very expensive. Therefore, many pre-orderers want to know as soon as possible which of the coveted OTW players they will receive.
