FIFA 20 launches the next special cards event. “Future Stars” is on the agenda and starts this week. Who could be involved?
When does Future Stars start? Just as the “Headliners” event has concluded, the next event in FIFA 20 begins with Future Stars. As usual, it kicks off on Friday at 7 PM. That is January 31, 2020.
This is Future Stars: Last year, FIFA 19 surprised everyone with the first Future Stars event, now in FIFA 20 we have the continuation. In Future Stars, promising talents receive new, strong special cards that reflect their potential.
Whether the concept will continue just like last year remains to be seen. After all, the “Headliners” cards differed somewhat from those of last year. It is possible that the Future Stars in FIFA 20 will also receive a new feature. We will know for sure by Friday.
Future Stars Predictions: These talents could receive a special card
These players could be involved: Those who follow real football will already have some talents in mind. The list of the best talents in Career Mode also gives hints about which cards might be included.
Especially the community has been expecting the talents event for a while now – and has made several predictions accordingly. For example, YouTuber Zweback HD has a wishlist that looks like this:

The list includes players from various leagues as well as several fan favorites. A big surprise would be Ansu Fati, who is currently not available in Ultimate Team. But precisely for this reason, the YouTuber hopes for a Fati card – especially because it would be so unexpected.
The other cards, however, seem more likely. This particularly applies to Erling Håland, whom many fans already have in mind for Future Stars. Since the Dortmund player just got a strong TOTW card, a possible Future Stars card could be extremely highly rated. Zweback HD envisions it like this:
This card would be incredibly powerful – and would probably be somewhat weaker if Håland is included in the promo. Nevertheless, Bundesliga players would definitely want a Future Stars card of the striker in their team.
