What is FUT Birthday? Since FIFA 14, the FUT Birthday has been celebrated in Ultimate Team, each year a little bigger and with more content. Therefore, we also expect new special cards, special packs, gift sets, and thematic SBCs in FUT this year.
EA has not yet released official information about the content of the birthday event. However, predictions can be made based on the insights from previous years. We will only see how it unfolds at the start of the event.
Release and Duration of the Event
When does it start? The FUT event begins on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 PM.
How long will the event last? While events in previous FUT editions usually lasted a week, we expect a two-week event this year. This is now standard in FUT 20.
However, this has not been confirmed yet.
The Possible Contents of the Event
What cards will there be? As with most promos, greatly improved special cards are also being released for FUT Birthday. The special feature in previous years: The new cards received very curious position changes. For example, last year there was a striker card of Van Dijk (CB) and Salah (RF) could be played as a left-back.
Special position changes were already seen this FUT year with the new Shapeshifters event. We are curious to see what kind of cards FUT Birthday will bring.
What other contents are expected? Numerous additional contents are usual, such as FUT Birthday cards that can only be unlocked via SBC. Additionally, there could be new objectives players and pack gifts.
FUT Birthday in FIFA 19: These were the contents from last year
These cards were available in FUT 19: Last year, the FUT Birthday event brought top cards into the game. Among them were Griezmann (93), Bale (93), and Mbappe (91).
For players with Bundesliga teams, Alaba (89) and Witsel (88) were interesting. Later, a top card of Timo Werner (91) could also be unlocked through SBC.
