In FIFA 20 some players receive Flashback cards that can be earned through SBCs. There are already four – who could be next?
These are Flashback cards: Flashback cards are player items that recall the past performances of great players. This means: A player like Piszczek, who has a rating of 81 today, receives a really strong card again. The Dortmund player, for example, received an 86-rated card that was meant to remind of old times – and is popular with teammate Manuel Akanji.
Ultimately, the Flashback cards can be unlocked through SBCs. Besides Piszczek, these Flashback cards have been available in FIFA 20 so far:

7 players who deserve Flashback cards
These are the candidates: Only players currently included in FIFA 20 are eligible for Flashback cards. They all share the fact that they had even stronger cards in the past than they do today.
Claudio Pizarro
This is what Pizarro’s Flashback could look like: Claudio Pizarro has almost reached legendary status in the Bundesliga. The forward is still attacking at 41 years old – and in his career, he has scored an unbelievable number of goals.
Since he is still available in FIFA 20, he could receive a Flashback card that recalls old times at Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich. A strong Pizarro card would also attract many interested players in FIFA 20.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
This is what Mkhitaryan’s Flashback could look like: Currently, Mkhitaryan has a rating of 81 playing for AS Roma. However, his best time was probably at BVB. Especially in FIFA 16, Mkhitaryan collected strong cards – accordingly, his Flashback card would be inspired by the Informs from that time.
Ricardo Quaresma
This is what Quaresma’s Flashback could look like: In FIFA 20, Quaresma only has a base rating of 81. However, especially in FIFA 17 and 18, the Portuguese collected very strong special cards, which a Flashback card can be inspired by. With Flashback Quaresma, one would get a very strong offensive card on the right wing.
Mario Gomez
This is what Gomez’s Flashback could look like: Mario Gomez is now in the 2. Bundesliga with an overall rating of 76. But at his peak, Gomez was a real goal machine.
For FC Bayern, he scored countless goals and collected strong special cards in FIFA. For example, in FIFA 12. A Flashback card for the current Stuttgart player would make many teams instantly better.
Sokratis
This is what Sokratis’ Flashback could look like: Sokratis is another familiar face from the Bundesliga on this list, whom many FIFA players would like to see stronger again. His current card with a rating of 84 is also impressive.
But of course: The former Sokratis was a notch stronger. He collected particularly strong special cards, for example in FIFA 17 for Borussia Dortmund. If the Arsenal defender received a Flashback, it would likely be especially strong.
Mario Balotelli
This is what Balotelli’s Flashback could look like: For a while, it seemed that Mario Balotelli could become the next really big striker. But several scandals and many transfers derailed the striker’s career.
He mostly managed to score his goals anyway. Many will still remember that one legendary Euro goal against Germany. A really strong Balotelli Flashback card would be a very good reinforcement for Serie A teams.
Gonzalo Higuain
This is what Higuain’s Flashback could look like: For many years, Higuain was among the most dangerous forwards ever. In FIFA 20, he still has a decent rating of 85 – but only a pace of 63 now.
A Flashback card would likely boost that. At Real Madrid, Napoli, and Juventus Turin, he was a real weapon – hence his card would also be extremely dangerous. Just that it now carries the Piemonte Calcio badge.
