EA announces the TOTS event for FIFA 20. It is called Team of the Season So Far (TOTSSF) and will start soon. We will tell you what we already know about it.
EA Sports has announced today, on April 17, the launch of the new TOTS event. The first to appear is the Community Team of the Season, for which fans can vote.
When does it start? The first Team of the Season will be released on Friday, April 24 at 7:00 PM in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.

What is the Team of the Season So Far? This year, the TOTS event is running a bit differently due to the current Corona crisis than FUT veterans are used to. In this TOTS, the performances of players are counted up to the last matchday before the football break.
All performances that take place after the Corona-related break will not be considered for this year’s TOTS. Strong performances will then be awarded with TOTW or Man-of-the-Match cards.
Which players can be chosen? You can vote for who should be included in the Community TOTSSF through the FUT community pages FUTWIZ and FUTHEAD. Players from all over the world can be chosen, who have received at most one performance-based special card in FUT 20 so far.
There are the following rules for voting:
- You may choose a maximum of 5 players from the same league
- At least 2 goalkeepers
- At least 6 defenders
- At least 6 midfielders
- At least 3 forwards
There are also prominent players represented in the selection, such as: Busquets, Fernandinho, Thiago, Pique, Godin, Icardi, or Casemiro.
How long will the event last? Typically, the TOTS event in FUT runs over several weeks, during which a new Team of the Season from a major league is released each week. We expect another multi-week event that will last at least 5 weeks.
