In FIFA 20, a graphic has emerged that is said to show the release date and the playable teams of the demo. This leak seems plausible.

What kind of demo leak is this? Recently, a graphic has been circulating on Reddit that is said to contain information about the FIFA 20 demo. It shows the release date, teams, and game modes.
Many players on Reddit assume that this graphic is “real”, as it has already received nearly 1000 upvotes. Even the prominent FIFA YouTuber MattHDGamer, who has already been allowed to showcase exclusive FIFA 20 gameplay, considers the leak plausible.

When will the demo be released? The exact release date is partially obscured on this graphic, but September 12th is clearly visible.
This start date is realistic. We indicated September 12th as a possible date in our FIFA 20 demo overview weeks ago, as the demo has historically released two weeks before the official launch of the annual FIFA installment – which is typically on a Thursday.
Teams and Game Modes
These teams are reportedly in the leak: There are supposed to be 10 playable teams in the demo. Namely,
- FC Liverpool
- Real Madrid
- BVB
- Manchester City
- PSG
- AS Roma
- Atlético Madrid
- Club América
- Los Angeles FC
- Vissel Kōbe
Prior to this, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, City, PSG, and both clubs from Madrid were already known as demo teams. Now we also know the remaining 4 – if this leak turns out to be true.

The game modes according to the leak: The graphic shows two images representing two game modes:
- On the left, the Volta mode is depicted, for which there will likely be a short preview. So you can test a bit of street football in the demo.
- On the right, a football field with the Champions League logo can be seen. So you can play the kickoff mode including Champions League.
Keep in mind that this leak has not been officially confirmed. Both the release date and the available game modes were already considered almost certain in advance; only the playable teams are really new information that is hard to predict.
By the way, only the PS4 logo is visible in the upper graphic. However, the demo will also be released for PC and Xbox One.
Officially, EA Sports is expected to comment on the demo only shortly before the demo launch. Then we will see if this leaked graphic is true or just a good fake.
