As usual, Black Friday is taking place this year in FIFA 20. There are plenty of offers, Lightning Rounds, and Flash SBCs – but you have to be quick! In addition, EA announces a new event called “Super Sunday”.
When does the event start? Like last year, the event has started on time at 3:00 PM this year.
What is Super Sunday? Super Sunday is new in FIFA and has not appeared in any FUT title so far. Presumably, there will be even more offers, promo packs, and SBCs. We are curious and will be surprised.
And as soon as there is new information, you will of course read it with us.
The contents of the Black Friday event with the “Best of TOTW”
These contents are available: As in FUT 19, EA is also releasing a “Best of TOTW” this year. The best cards from the first 10 TOTWs are now available in packs.
The “Best of TOTW” team
- RF: Messi (95) – FC Barcelona
- LF: Ronaldo (94) – Piemonte Calcio/Juventus Turin
- LF: Hazard (92) – Real Madrid
- ZM: De Bruyne (92) – Manchester City
- ST: Lewandowski (91) – FC Bayern München
- LF: Mbappe (90) – PSG
- ST: Mane (89) – FC Liverpool
- ST: Dybala (89) – Piemonte Calcio/Juventus Turin
- ST: Mertens (89) – Naples
- ZOM: Nainggolan (86) – Cagliari Calcio
- ST: Ben Yedder (85) – AS Monaco
Additionally, there are the following contents:
- Lightning Rounds: These are special packs for which there is only a certain global quota. The Lightning Rounds usually start in the evening on the hour, and only those who are first can secure the rare special packs until they are sold out.
- Promo Packs: In addition to the Lightning Rounds, there will also be Promo Packs, which are rarely available. These include, among others, the best packs in the game.
- Flash SBCs: For these Squad Building Challenges, you have little time. In these challenges, you exchange teams for special rewards
What about the market crash?
This happened before: In previous FUT titles, the crash of the transfer market was a major topic. There was a massive drop in prices for almost all players before Black Friday. Especially on Thursday, the day before the event, these prices often fell sharply.
This was due to many FUT players selling their unused cards to have more coins for special offers and SBCs.
Will there be a crash this year as well? Over the years, the crash has become smaller. Players have been preparing for the event for weeks and are acquiring their coins through sales. Nevertheless, the prices for many cards are cheaper than ever and could certainly rise again after the event.
So it is currently a good time to make bargains in FUT 20!
Top cards almost unaffected by the market crash: Experience shows that absolute top cards retain their value or only slightly decrease during the Black Friday event. A Ronaldo, Mbappé, or Neymar will not necessarily be available at bargain prices.
These offers were available on Black Friday last year in FIFA 19:
