A new update for FIFA 19 has been released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, which you can download right now. It is a small patch, but it brings two interesting changes. Let’s take a look at the patch notes for FIFA 19 Update 1.15.
Update 1.15 Patch Notes
This is what the new update brings: The update 1.15 for FIFA 19 implements one change in Kick-Off and one in Ultimate Team mode:
- In Kick-Off, you can now play the FIFA Women’s World Cup final of 2019 in France.
- In Ultimate Team, an annoying bug has been fixed: In some cases, the dynamic images of your FUT cards disappeared. TOTW player cards sometimes looked strange or displayed just the standard image of the player. This should no longer happen.
How Players React
Bug finally fixed: The missing dynamic images of the players have been a recurring topic on reddit for months. Accordingly, the news that the bug is finally a thing of the past was received with joy.
- Even with an ironic tone: “Nice, they only took 8 months to fix it,” comments reddit user MikkoJaj.
- “That bothered me so much. I’m very happy. Such a small thing, but it just makes me happy,” says player DanteJSagan.
However, some players still report that the bug persists for them. In some cases, images still disappear.
Furthermore, some are annoyed that EA took so long for such a small thing: “Just imagine how long it will take to solve the gameplay issues,” comments user “Thegodfather-PT“.
Women’s World Cup only with final: The update for the Women’s World Cup is also being discussed on reddit – although not as extensively.
Some players wish that the Women’s World Cup would be treated more extensively: The update only brings a playable final in the Kick-Off mode at the Stade de Lyon. A large mode, as was the case last year in FUT for the men’s World Cup, is missing.
On the other hand, others emphasize that there seems to be little interest in a larger mode. Just a few days ago, there was a discussion on reddit about such a mode, but even here, opinions were divided:
- While some would have been very happy about a large World Cup mode, also for variety
- other users clearly show that they have no interest in the Women’s World Cup: “No one wants that,” finds a player.
