Instead of strong TOTS cards, players received almost exclusively weak gold cards in a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) in FIFA 19. EA has now promised a solution.
What happened? EA released a Squad Building Challenge for the Team of the Season of the Turkish first league on Sunday. Completing this SBC promises a TOTS card from the Süper Lig as a reward.
The problem: Many players completed the SBC and did not receive a TOTS card.
A truly incomprehensible bug, as there have been several such SBCs for the other Teams of the Season in recent weeks. Players always received the correct rewards with no problems.

That was the problem: Most players could not enjoy completing the SBC. Instead of the promised TOTS card, players received a completely random FUT card. Since TOTS cards are endgame cards, the actual rewards were usually much weaker.

Reddit user dylanm297 is particularly upset, as he pulled the regular version of Ousmane Dembele, even though he is currently available as an extremely strong TOTS version in the La Liga TOTS: “I got the regular Dembele. Not the TOTS Dembele. 84-rated Dembele, what a joke.”
Whether this FUT player will receive the TOTS Dembele retroactively from EA is questionable.
Most players take it with humor; for example, europe050 wonders: “I’m surprised no one has pulled a jersey from this SBC yet.”
This is how EA responded: After several hours, EA became aware of the error and quickly removed the SBC from the game. They spoke up on Twitter and promised to inform fans about a solution as soon as one exists.
The SBC is back online
This is the current status of the SBC: The SBC is now back online, and all players who should not have pulled a TOTS card have received the corresponding pack from EA again.
This time, however, a TOTS player from the Süper Lig is supposed to come out.
