In FIFA 19 the first Prime Icon SBCs are now live. Get the legendary icons through SBCs or packs in Ultimate Team.
What are Prime Icons? Last year, the icons were one of the major innovations in the FIFA series. They are legendary players who are no longer active.
The special thing about the icons is that they receive three cards with different values. These reflect the different phases of their careers. The best of these cards are called “Prime Icons”.
The first 5 Prime Icons now in SBCs
These Prime Icons you can obtain: On October 15th, the first Prime Icon SBCs were activated in the game. You can now get five icons in their best form.

How to obtain the Prime Icons: There are three ways to get one of the coveted legend cards:
- Packs: Like any other card, you can simply get the Prime Icon cards from packs. However, you’ll need a lot of luck. If you open some of the best packs in FIFA 19, you might at least increase the chances of getting an Icon card.
- Transfer Market: You can also find the Prime Icons on the Transfer Market. However, the price for the legendary players is extremely high.
- SBCs: All Prime Icons are also available through SBCs throughout the season. Currently, the Squad Building Challenge for the first Prime Icons is live. But it also requires a lot from you: In total, you must complete seven tasks, including exchanging a weaker icon that you already own with full teams of 84, 85, and 86 overall ratings. Therefore, the SBC also costs a lot of coins. You can earn coins through smart TOTW trading.
Obtaining the icons for your team remains a colossal task. But it’s worth it: Besides their great stats, icons are also chemistry-neutral. That means you can use them in any team.
