For FIFA 19, EA Sports has secured extensive licenses for the Spanish La Liga. In addition to 16 new stadiums, there will also be over 200 new head scans.
Full throttle La Liga: As EA Sports announced on August 17th, there will be significantly more new licenses in FIFA 19 than previously thought. The upcoming football simulation will feature almost all official stadiums of the Spanish La Liga. Additionally, there will be more La Liga features.
All new La Liga features in FIFA 19
Thanks to the new licenses, EA Sports aims to bring even more authenticity to virtual football.
These are all La Liga stadiums in FIFA 19
16 new stadiums from the Spanish La Liga will be included authentically in FIFA 19.
This year, there will be a total of 19 Spanish arenas, namely:
- Estadio Mestalla (Valencia)
- Estadio ABANCA-Riazor (Deportivo La Coruña)
- Estadio Benito Villamarín (Real Betis)
- Estadio La Rosaleda (Málaga)
- Estadio San Mamés (Athletic Bilbao)
- Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (Sevilla)
- Coliseum Alfonso Pérez (Getafe)
- Estadio de Gran Canaria (UD Las Palmas)
- Estadio de la Cerámica (Villareal)
- RCDE Stadium (Espanyol)
- Estadio de Balaídos (Celta Vigo)
- Municipal de Ipurua (Eibar)
- Estadio Ciutat de València (Levante)
- Estadio de Anoeta (Real Sociedad)
- Municipal de Butarque (Leganés)
- Estadio de Mendizorrotza (Alavés)
- Estadio de Montilivi (Girona)

What about Camp Nou? Apparently, Camp Nou, the home of FC Barcelona, remains PES-exclusive. Thus, Camp Nou is still missing in FIFA.

New Headscans
Over 200 players from La Liga received fresh head scans. This means they will look more like their real-life counterparts in FIFA 19.
Which players are involved is not listed by EA Sports. Some of the scans can be seen in the video embedded above.
Official La Liga Presentation
When you play La Liga matches in FIFA 19, they will be presented in the official La Liga look, as seen on TV.
EA Sports has thus acquired the licenses for the official La Liga broadcast package. The line-up, the score, and many other graphics will look like the “real” ones.
The deeper and more immersive La Liga experience is intended to carry through multiple game modes, from career mode to the new kickoff. You can also use the new stadiums in Ultimate Team.
EA concludes that FIFA 19 will provide the best La Liga player experience ever.
