After TOTS, the next promo for FIFA 19 is just around the corner. On Wednesday, the FUTTIES event starts. Read here what you can expect from the event.
As usual in recent years, the FUTTIES event follows the Team of the Season. This time, however, it is a bit earlier than in previous years.
The event starts: EA has activated a countdown on the Ultimate Team start screen. This ends on Wednesday at 7 PM, then the FUTTIES begin.
Duration of the event: Presumably, the FUTTIES event will last for 4 weeks and continuously offer new content. The event is likely to end on August 2, 2019.
This is the FUTTIES event: Normally, EA Sports ends the promotions for the current FIFA title with the FUTTIES event. At this event, there are usually many new pink special cards as well as a kind of best-of earlier special cards from FUT 19.
We cannot say exactly what content there will be. Currently, no details are known. But by Wednesday at the latest, we will know more. We will keep you updated.
This is how the FUTTIES event went in FIFA 18
This is how to get the FUTTIES cards: Last year, there were new nomination squad-building challenges (SBCs) every 72 hours. With these SBCs, FUT players could determine which cards would receive enhanced FUTTIES versions.
Last year, for example, it started with the SBC vote for the best central midfielder. To vote for which of these players would receive an improved FUTTIES card, one had to complete an SBC as a vote submission.
The next day, the winner was announced, and the new card appeared as a FUTTIES card in FIFA 18. Also again as a squad building challenge.
To receive the winning FUTTIES card, one had to solve the corresponding winner SBC. We expect a similar process in FIFA 19.
The winners of the FUTTIES in FIFA 18: These cards won the respective nomination SBCs and received enhanced FUTTIES cards.

These cards were additionally available: Furthermore, in FUTTIES-18, it was possible to obtain special cards that were already no longer found in packs. Many different end-of-an-era cards were also released as part of the FUTTIES event and were unlockable via SBC.
