Today, FIFA 19 kicks off Carniball in Ultimate Team. The countdown is on for the new event. Here are all the cards and information.
Countdown in FUT 19: If you log into FUT 19 now, you will be greeted with a countdown. This announces Carniball and will end today, on March 8, at 7 PM.The countdown has now expired.
What is Carniball? This is a new event held to celebrate Carnival in the Ultimate Team mode. In German, it is called “Karneball”.
Update: On March 15, Carniball will come to Germany. Here are the new top cards during the event.
These are the contents Carniball brings to FUT 19
Carniball runs until: The Carniball goes from March 8 at 7 PM until March 15 – so for one week.

Are there new cards? According to EA Sports, a team consisting of 26 players will be released, all coming from the 8 main Carnival countries. The countries are:
- Brazil (Rio De Janeiro)
- France (Nice)
- Belgium (Binche)
- Italy (Venice)
- Argentina (Buenos Aires)
- USA (New Orleans)
- Spain (Cadiz)
- Germany (Cologne)
All these countries radiate creativity and fun during the carnival, but each country also has unique elements, according to EA. Carniball is meant to revive this spirit of the carnival, and each of the new player cards is supposed to embody the playing style of their country.
This means: Each player in the Carniball team will receive a “significant ratings upgrade” to reflect their unique playing style.
Here’s what else you can expect at Carniball:
- Since Brazil hosts one of the most famous carnivals in the world, this week Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, and Roberto Carlos will be available as Prime Icon Moments in packs.
- Every day there will be Carniball player SBCs. Each day one of the 8 carnival nations will be celebrated.
- 14 Carniball players will be available in packs, 4 will be obtainable through Weekly Goals, and 8 in other ways.
- During the event, a total of 6 Prime Icon Moments SBCs and 2 Flashback players will be released. These players are also supposed to represent their Carnival country.
- Every day there will be Puzzle SBCs.
- Carniball runs exclusively in FUT 19 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
