In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the first winter upgrades are live. This is how the player ratings of individual players in the Premier League change. Overview of the ratings refresh cards.
Today, on February 23, the ratings refresh phase, the winter upgrades, in FUT 18 begins. Hundreds of players will be provided with new, upgraded standard cards over the coming days. The new ratings are intended to reflect the real performances of the players on the pitch.
The player rating updates will be released sorted by league. Let’s start with the ratings refresh of the Premier League.
Important: There are no downgrades this year.

The ratings refresh phase lasts until March 5. By then, EA Sports will gradually release the upgrades from the other leagues.

How to get the ratings refresh cards in Ultimate Team
Once the winter upgrade cards are released, they can be pulled from the sets. The only requirement is that the set can contain players. The “old” cards of the respective players will no longer be found in the sets from this moment on.
If you already own a card of a player who is being upgraded, it will remain unchanged. It will not be automatically updated. If you want the card of the player with improved attributes, you must pull it from a set. It is also possible to acquire the winter upgrade cards from other players on the transfer market.
