What are the Ones to Watch in FUT 18? How do the upgrades work? OTW explanation
The special thing about the OTW cards: They are dynamic cards. Every time an OTW player receives a TOTW card or another special card (like MOTM, Hero, etc.), that player’s OTW card is automatically adjusted to that card and will consistently stay at the higher rating.
In other words: The better a player performs in real football (and thus receives a special card from EA Sports), the better your OTW card will become throughout the season. There is then a form boost that corresponds to the latest values.
Important: The OTW cards will not be upgraded by those special cards that grant extreme stat boosts, such as TOTY or TOTS.
The position on the OTW player card always remains the same, even if the position on a new TOTW card differs.
